A magistrate court sitting in Bondo town, has released 17 youths on Sh15,000 cash bail following their arrest over the violent disruption of a nuclear power plant public hearing in Central Sakwa.

Police said the suspects were picked up at Ka’John, Lenya and Nango trading centers a day after the incident.

Chief Magistrate Douglas Ogoti rejected prosecution requests to detain them for terrorism probes, directing them to report to the DCIO as investigations conclude.
