As Kenya builds momentum towards the 2027 General Election, a Siaya-based clergyman has shared a prophetic vision regarding the political future of Luo Nyanza and the country’s national leadership.
Speaking after a prayer and ordination service in Harambee, Siaya County, Bishop Thomas Genga of the Got Sinai Foundation Roho Maler Church of Africa claimed that a divine encounter revealed National Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi and former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero as the frontrunners to succeed President William Ruto.
While the bishop noted that the vision did not explicitly single out one candidate over the other, he maintained that both figures hold favor for future leadership.
“I do not know how this will come to be, but it has been revealed to me that those two sons of the Lake are the ones,” Bishop Genga stated, adding that as a mortal, he could not explain why the revelation encompassed both leaders.
Addressing the broader political landscape, Bishop Genga predicted that President Ruto will secure re-election in 2027, noting that the Head of State has weathered significant challenges and will “definitely sail through for a second term.”
The clergyman also voiced concern over recent Gen Z-led protests, cautioning young people that escalating agitation and defiance toward older generations could drive the nation into instability.
“The young people are forgetting that we are their parents,” he remarked, urging calm and mutual respect to prevent chaotic outcomes.
