By OCHIENG CLINTON: Popular travel vlogger and digital creator Roam Kenya, famous for his signature catchphrase “Chai ni lazima”, has publicly blasted Tahmeed Coach LTD, accusing the bus company of severe negligence that endangers both on-board passengers and fellow road users.
The creator, who cut short his journey to Mombasa on Thursday night, is warning his followers of an alarming close call.
In a fiery social media post, Roam Kenya alleged that a Tahmeed bus nearly caused a fatal accident, prompting him to abort his trip midway.
“Tonight, I will share a video of how Tahmeed almost sent us to the other world last night. We cannot keep quiet when a bus carrying over 40 passengers not only endangers the lives of the people on board but also puts hundreds of other road users at risk,” read the post on Facebook.
The post further stated, “I have defended Tahmeed many times, but it seems the management does not want to improve.”
He has promised to drop an upcoming video exposing the harrowing Thursday night incident to prove the extent of the company’s alleged disregard for commuter safety.
