Governor George Natembeya laughed off the Directorate of criminal investigation probe into Kware deaths, expressing his doubt if Collins Khalusha Jumaisi was really responsible for the deaths.

Natembeya argued that one person couldn’t have committed such a crime for two years without anyone noticing.

“You’re told that one man killed women. And the way women are heavy. How could he have killed a woman weighing 100kgs, chopped her to pieces, placed her body in a sack and thrown her remains into the quarry without anyone seeing him. Hizo ni story za jaba,” said Natembeya.

In a video that is doing rounds in social media, the governor wondered why no one reported hearing any screams from the women, insisting that Khalisha was covering up for someone else.

“Now that one person confessed to the crime, investigation stops and everyone is happy.This is total stupidity, nothing has happened there,” said Natembeya.

This comes after the Kware deaths prime suspect Collins Khalusha now claims that he was tortured, molested and forced to confess to the crimes.
