We are coming for you! Pastor receive threats for allegedly sleeping with congregants spouses

KIRINYAGA: In Gakungu village, Kirinyaga County, over 500 members of the Joy Holy Trinity Ministry missed Sunday service after receiving threatening messages aimed at their reverend, Bernard Njuguna.

The leaflets accused him of misconduct, including having affairs with congregants’ wives and misusing church funds.

Tensions were high as worshippers gathered in small groups near the church, discussing their fears.

The leaflets warned that the authors would come armed, prompting ten congregants to provide 24-hour security for Reverend Njuguna at his home.

Despite reporting the threats to local authorities, Reverend Njuguna said no action has been taken.

He denied all allegations, including claims about a luxury vehicle purchased for Ksh 7 million.

Feeling unsafe, the reverend and his supporters plan to approach Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki for help.

This situation raises serious concerns about safety and trust within the community as they navigate these troubling events.
