Baltasar Engonga, Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), has been arrested.

Authorities discovered his involvement in a sex scandal with 400 women. This includes the wives of prominent government officials.

Investigators found the tapes during a fraud investigation. High-profile women were recorded having unprotected sex with Mr. Engonga.

These women included the wife of his brother, the president’s cousin and sister, the Director General of Police’s wife, and the wives of 20 cabinet ministers.

The videos have been released online, allegedly recorded with the women’s consent. This scandal has shocked Equatorial Guinea and the rest of Africa.

Engonga was previously described as a legend.
