Police in Kiambu County are investigating the brutal murder of a 28-year-old woman whose body was discovered dumped by the roadside on the Ruaka-Banana road near Kiamutaro.

The deceased has been identified as Jackline Nyambura Mungai.

According to a police incident report obtained by Kondele News, preliminary findings indicate that the victim had been living with Nashon Kuria Wanjiru, 44, in a rental house approximately 200 meters from where her body was found.

The couple had reportedly been cohabiting for about four years.

The body of the deceased was found partially unclothed, with a blue T-shirt tightly tied around her head, blocking her mouth.

However, investigators noted there were no visible external injuries, and the circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear.

Authorities are continuing their investigations to determine the events leading to her death and identify any individuals involved in the crime.
