Two Decomposed Bodies of Women Pulled from Kapingazi River in Embu

EMBU: Detectives in Embu County are probing a suspected double murder after the decomposed bodies of two women were recovered from the Kapingazi River in Matakari area on Wednesday, August 13.

Police said the victims appeared to have been in the water for more than four days, with one body missing a right foot.

Investigators believe the women may have been killed elsewhere before their bodies were dumped in the river.

The remains were taken to the mortuary for identification and postmortem examinations as officers work to establish the motive behind the killings.
