Domestic airline Fly748.com has announced a Sh3million Diamond Sponsorship to support the second edition of the “Run 4 Seniors” fundraising event.
Scheduled for July 18, 2026, at Karura Forest in Nairobi, the annual run is organized by Mama Ibado Charity (MIC) to mobilize resources and raise awareness for vulnerable older persons living in underserved communities across Kakamega and Isiolo counties.
Speaking on the partnership, Fly748.com Head of Scheduled Services George Oduor emphasized that the airline is proud to align with an initiative that champions the dignity, care, and inclusion of older citizens.
He noted that strong communities are built on compassion and shared responsibility, adding that senior citizens deserve proper support as they age.

Call for more partners
Oduor extended an invitation to Kenyans from all sectors to participate in the event and make their steps count for the cause.
Mama Ibado Charity Director Amb. Dr Amina Mohamed welcomed the anchor sponsorship, describing it as a timely boost to the organization’s ongoing efforts.
She noted that the partnership reflects a growing public recognition of the need for consistent care, protection, and dignity for older persons.
According to Dr Mohamed, the financial backing will directly help expand the event’s reach and sustain charity programs that address the immediate realities of senior citizens facing poverty, neglect, and social isolation.
Proceeds from the Karura Forest run will go toward Mama Ibado Charity’s Seniors Feeding and Healthcare Programmes, which provide monthly nutritional packages, access to essential medical services, medication support, and community-based care.
As an incentive to drive public participation, Fly748.com will leverage its own corporate platforms to boost awareness and is offering an exclusive 10 percent discount on flight tickets to all registered participants of the run.
