Authorities in Siaya County are currently probing the unexpected demise of a 60-year-old woman, whose lifeless form was discovered adrift on a water pan in Nyandiwa sub-location.

The deceased, identified as Pamela Atieno Omunya, was last sighted at 8:00 PM on June 10th, sharing an evening meal with her sister. Following the meal, she bid her sister goodnight and departed for her nearby residence.

“It is established that the deceased was last seen at her home in Osumba village, Randago sub-location by her sister Irene Adhiambo Aoko whom they had supper together at around 2000hrs on 10/06/2024 and left her sleeping, her lifeless body was found floating today the 11th june 2024 at around 15oohrs in a water pan at Nyandiwa original village. With the help of members of the public, the body was retrieved with no visible physical injuries,” stated an incident report seen by Kondele News.
