Where is the MCA? Questions rise as police in Uriri deny that he has been traced

Police in Uriri sub-county have denied the information spreading that the missing MCA has been found at Uriri sub-county hospital.

The reports had spread that the Wajir MCA Yusuf Ahmed Hussein, who went missing on the night of September 13, had been found unconscious in Uriri Sub-County Hospital, nearly 500 kilometers from where he was abducted.

Della Ward MCA Hussein was abducted along Enterprise Road in Makadara constituency, leaving his colleagues and family members puzzled about his whereabouts.

Eldas Constituency Member of Parliament Adan Keynan, who brought Hussein’s disappearance to light and assisted the family in tracing the missing MCA, confirmed on Sunday that the lawmaker had been located.

”I have spoken to the OCPD Uriri Police Station, John Odhiambo, who has confirmed that the MCA is lying unconsciously in the hospital,” said the lawmaker before the police refuted.

According to reports, Hussein was in a taxi when a black Prado without a registration number plate blocked the way.

He was then whisked away, leaving the taxi behind. The taxi driver, who reported the incident to the police, also handed over the lawmaker’s mobile phone, which remained in the vehicle.

Questions have been raised concerning the increasing cases of abductions.
