NYAKACH: Cattle rustlers in Nyakach succeeded in killing one of the people who thwarted most of their operations in the area,

A police incident report seen by Kondele News established that the yesterday incident left one Ken Omondi Kizimba dead and no animal was stolen; giving a clear picture that the attackers just wanted to kill him.

“Police together with DCI officers visited the scene and established that thugs interested in stock theft invaded Kizimba’s home in Kobong’o Village Wahanda East Kadiang’a with intention of killing one Ken Omondi Kizimba who has been very instrumental in thwarting their efforts against stealing,” stated the report.

According to the locals, the deceased countered most of the theft of livestock making him a threat to the rustlers.

“They killed him with an arrow lodged on the right side of the head and stomach. The victim had also deep panga cut on the head and both hands. No stock was stolen,” the reported indicated further.

The police have launched investigations as the body of the deceased taken to Nyabondo Mission Hospital Mortuary.
