SIAYA: Police in Siaya have launched investigations into a mysterious death of a 40-year-old-man whose lifeless body was found inside his house of residence.
The deceased, identified as Godfrey, who lived alone had gone missing and was not responding to his phone calls.
A friend who went to check on him discovered the worst; he was lifeless in his house.
“The info was first shared by a friend who missed him yesterday and decided to pay him a visit at around 6.30pm. He noticed that the door was closed from inside, and the unusual smell was emanating from the house,” read a police incident report seen by Kondele News.
The deceased was a caretaker of the house. The owner of the house lives in Kisumu.
The police collected the body to Siaya County Referral Mortuary awaiting post mortem examination.
