Police arrest suspect with Marijuana and some stolen items

Police officers from Yala Police Station in Siaya County conducted an intelligence-led operation yesterday after a tip-off from the public.

During the raid, officers recovered a variety of suspected stolen items, including electronic gadgets, household goods, and assorted tools.

They also seized several rolls of cannabis and other narcotic substances.

One male suspect was arrested, but his accomplices escaped. The recovered items are being held as evidence, and the suspect remains in custody as police continue their investigation.

The National Police Service has commended the public for providing timely information and urges continued cooperation in the fight against crime and drug abuse.
