Two Suspects Arrested, Pistol Recovered in Pipeline Police Operation

A night patrol by National Police Service (NPS) officers in the Pipeline area resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the recovery of a firearm.

The operation was launched following a tip-off from a member of the public.

Acting on the intelligence, the patrol team proceeded to the sixth floor of Munche Building. Upon entering a room occupied by the suspects, a search was conducted.

Officers discovered a Powerline Airstrike pistol that was concealed inside a carton box.

The two male suspects, whose names were not released, were immediately arrested. They are currently in police custody as investigations continue.

In a statement, the National Police Service commended the public for providing the crucial information that led to the arrests.

The Service also praised the officers for their swift and effective response. The NPS reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens and residents.
