Seven Arrested, Stolen Goods Recovered in Bungoma

Police in Bungoma have arrested seven suspects and recovered a large cache of stolen household goods and electronics.

The arrests took place on September 20, 2025, after officers on patrol intercepted individuals with suspected stolen property.

Following an interrogation, the suspects led police to a house in the Galana area, where a major haul of stolen items was recovered, and more suspects were apprehended.

The recovered items included multiple television sets, laptops, speakers, solar equipment, utensils, and other assorted goods. Police also impounded two motorcycles believed to have been used in the crimes.

All seven suspects are being held in custody and are scheduled to appear at the Bungoma Law Courts on September 22, 2025.

The National Police Service praised the officers’ quick response and assured the public that efforts to dismantle criminal networks are ongoing.
