An inquest into the death of a 29-year-old Saudi prince found dead in a luxury London hotel suite last November has concluded that no foul play or self-harm was involved, pointing instead to a fatal combination of alcohol and substances.

Prince Abdullah bin Fahad bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Jalawi al Saud was discovered fully clothed on the bathroom floor of his fifth-floor suite at the Marriott Hotel in Kensington.

CCTV footage presented to the court confirmed that no one entered the prince’s room in the hours leading up to his death.

Prince Abdullah checked into the Kensington Marriott Hotel on November 29, intending to stay for a week.

Security cameras captured him stepping outside alone for a cigarette before returning calmly to his fifth-floor suite.

He was later found unresponsive on his bathroom floor.

Investigators confirmed no third parties were involved.

Toxicology reports presented during the inquest painted a grim picture of the prince’s final hours.

His blood alcohol concentration was recorded at nearly three times England’s legal drink-drive limit, a concentration experts testified could trigger a coma on its own.

Beyond high alcohol levels, the court heard that the prince had potentially fatal amounts of other substances in his system.
