DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua mourns death of a nominated MCA in Kirinyaga

DCP party leader and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has mourned the passing of Kirinyaga County Assembly specially elected MCA Beatrice Njoki Mitaru, describing her death as a devastating blow to her family, friends, and the people of Kirinyaga County.

Njoki, who served as a nominated member representing Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), was praised by the DCP boss for her humility, dedication, and unwavering commitment to public service.

In a heartfelt condolence message on his Facebook page, Gachagua remembered the late legislator as a close personal acquaintance who led with dignity, integrity, and a genuine passion for community empowerment.

Expressing his deep grief, the former Deputy President noted that Njoki’s relentless drive toward building a better Kenya leaves an enduring legacy.

He extended his sympathies to her family, loved ones, and colleagues in the County Assembly of Kirinyaga, offering prayers for fortitude during this period of mourning and asking God to grant her soul eternal rest.
