Siaya police investigating death of a man resulting from land dispute

Alego Usonga: Police in Ndere, Siaya County, are pursuing a suspect following the brutal murder of 50-year-old Amos Oduor Oloo.

Oloo was reportedly stabbed during a heated disagreement over land involving a family member, his body was found lying approximately 50 meters from his home, bearing visible chest wounds.

The assailant remains at large. Authorities have launched a manhunt for the suspect.

Meanwhile authorities in Githunguri are investigating a tragic domestic incident that occurred on January 2, resulting in the deaths of both a child and the primary suspect.

A man allegedly killed a child following a domestic dispute before turning a weapon on himself. The suspect was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his self-inflicted injuries while undergoing treatment.

Detectives are working to establish the exact sequence of events that led to the double tragedy.

Finally in Nguka, Kirinyaga County, police are investigating a suspected homicide after a man’s body was discovered in Mukuyu village.

The unidentified man was found tied to a tree, officers noted significant physical injuries and bloodstains on his clothing.

The motive for the killing remains unknown. The body has been moved to a mortuary for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
