Shock as decomposing bodies of Man and wife found inside their house

NAIROBI: Police are investigating a tragic incident where a man and his wife were found dead inside their home in Karinde, Nairobi.

Locals initially suspected that the couple had committed suicide using an electric cable. The man’s body was discovered hanging, while the woman’s body was found lying on the floor.

Officers from the National Police Service responded to the scene, finding the bodies in an advanced state of decomposition.

An ID card recovered from the pocket of the male deceased identified him as Reuben Ndede. The identity of the female deceased remains unknown.

A small child, approximately 1.5 years old, was found lying beside the deceased mother. The child was promptly rushed to Mutuini Hospital for treatment.

Crime Scene Investigation personnel processed the scene, and the bodies were transported to the Nairobi City Morgue for postmortem examinations.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the man may have killed his wife before taking his own life.

No suicide note was found at the scene. The police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
